Dear GUHS Families,

We have received the all clear from law enforcement, and the soft lockdown has now been lifted.

At no point were students or staff in immediate danger, and all safety protocols were followed out of an abundance of caution. Normal campus operations have resumed.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we prioritized the safety of our students and staff.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At this time, our campus is currently in a soft lockdown as a precautionary measure. Our School Resource Officer received a notification of a potential threat reported on E. Butler Road.

Please know that all students and staff are safe, and we are following all safety protocols in coordination with law enforcement. A soft lockdown means normal activities inside the building may continue while exterior access is restricted and movement is limited out of an abundance of caution.

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive more information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This week was all that and a bag of chips as we celebrated the best teachers around with a throwback to the early 90’s! 🕶️🎶

We kicked things off with a Star Wars throwback grab-and-go breakfast 🌌✨, cooled things down with an ice cream bar served by our awesome student volunteers 🍦, rolled through with a totally rad drink cart 🥤, enjoyed Taco Bell provided by Rocky Creek Church 🌮, and finished strong with a nostalgic snack cart full of all the throwback favorites! 🍭📺
