๐ผ๐ป Our Seeds of Learning Garden is Thriving! ๐
๐
While many of us are melting in this summer heat and humidity, our Seeds of Learning Garden is loving every minute of it!
Our pollinator flowers are in full bloom, filling the garden with vibrant colors and attracting busy bees, butterflies, and other important pollinators. We were especially excited to discover volunteer milkweed growing throughout the garden! Milkweed is the only plant Monarch butterflies lay their eggs on, so this unexpected addition will provide an important habitat for these incredible pollinators.
The vegetable beds are flourishing too, with healthy plants beginning to produce fresh vegetables. And one of the biggest surprises this season? Our accidental pumpkin patch has absolutely taken off! What started as a few unexpected seedlings has grown into a thriving patch that promises to be a fun fall surprise.
This garden is more than just a beautiful spaceโit's an outdoor classroom where our students learn about science, responsibility, healthy eating, and environmental stewardship. Every flower, vegetable, butterfly, and even those surprise pumpkins tell a story about nature's ability to grow and thrive.
Mrs. Gaylets and Mrs. Wood can't wait to welcome our students back to see how much their garden has grown. Until then, our Seeds of Learning Garden continues to flourish, proving that even through the hottest days of summer, learningโand growingโnever stops! ๐ฑโ๏ธ

๐ฉโ๐ณ๐ Our Food Service Director, Mrs. Timlin, recently attended a culinary training at Saucon Valley School District to learn about Pennsylvania's Harvest of the Month program and sample new recipes.
We're excited to bring fresh ideas and nutritious menu options to our students this school year!
