Knolls Elementary School serves students in Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade in th Students participate in art and music programs.
Knolls Elementary School is a close-knit educational community offering rigorous academics, in conjunction with projects based around critical thinking skills. Technology is integrated into instruction, and promotes student collaboration and creativity in their learning experiences. TK students have been immersed in hands-on learning about plant and insect life cycles. Students planted green bean seeds, watered them, observed their growth, and learned about plant parts and plant needs. They observed caterpillars as they ate, grew, developed chrysalises, and emerged as butterflies. They took a trip to Underwood Farm to learn more about plants, pick strawberries and visit the animals. Students presented their learning to their families at open house. Students released the butterflies back to nature and took home their green bean plants.
