Our belief here at Family Connection Learning Center is to build secure relationships with responsive and respective adults. This provides the basis for all learning experiences because we believe the early childhood years are the most crucial in the lives of young children. . We provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our main emphasis is setting up an immediate relationship between teacher and child; this is the most critical step and sets the tone for an easy transition into a "home away from home" mentality. In a setting with this teaching method you can be assured your child will develop a greater capacity for critical-thinking skills, competence and independence that helps to develop tools for their future. Our center is dedicated to providing the highest quality program. We feel it is important to respect the individuality and uniqueness of each child and their family. Our goal is to help children develop in various ways: physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, creatively and spiritually. We are sensitive to the developmental growth of the children and believe that children learn by doing: "play" is their tool for learning. We provide a variety of dynamic activities to motivate a child's natural curiosity and challenge their physical and intellectual abilities. These successful experiences help to develop and encourage self-expression and a high self-concept.
