Tonight is Back to School Night from 5:30–7:30 PM! Your student will have a class schedule to give you, along with a map to help you find your way around campus and locate all of their classes. 🗺️📚 If you’re attending, please stop by P7 and come meet Mr. Johnson! He’s excited to meet you all and kick off another awesome year of making music together! 🎺🥁🎶

Back to School Night or not, band practice is still happening tonight from 5:30–9:00 PM. 💪🎶

And guess what?! Our FIRST HOME GAME is THIS FRIDAY, 8/21! 🏈🔥 It’s time to do what we do best—MAKE MUSIC, BRING THE ENERGY, and get everyone in those stands doing a lil’ boogie! 💃🕺🎺🥁

We’re looking for parent volunteers who want to help our music students behind the scenes! Whether you can help for a little bit or a lot, we would LOVE to have you! There are plenty of ways to pitch in, and we’ll happily take all the help we can get. 🙌

You’re also invited to join us for our monthly Booster Meetings, held in the library beginning at 7:30 PM.

📅 Our next Booster Meeting is Wednesday, 8/19 from 6:30-7:30 PM in the library

And there’s more! Immediately following the Booster Meeting, we’ll have our first weekly Band Spectacular meeting. If you’d like to help plan, organize, and volunteer for Band Spectacular, we would absolutely love to have you join us! 🎉

Tonight’s the first official practice of the 2026 Marching Prides field season. Practice starts at 5:30PM in the band room (P7). See you then!!

Welcome back Simi Music! Today is our first day back for the 26/27 school year. If you’re a returning student welcome back we’re excited to see you! If you’re a new student welcome to our Simi Music family! We’re not only a Simi Marching Pride family, WE ARE SIMI MUISC! You’ll find posts and important updates for all of our Simi Music classes here. Please look for these throughout the year. Below is our first parent square of the year from our Director Mr. Johnson. Every week he’ll send out a weekly bulletin with important information for ALL Simi Music Students. (Please download Parent Square to ensure you never miss an announcement or important event for your student.) This year we’re also proud to announce our website www.simivalleymusic.org. On the website you’ll find a calendar with all of our events and schedules listed as well as many other helpful tools to help you with your student throughout the year. Enjoy your first day back we’re looking forward to this year, we have a lot of fun things planned for our entire program and can’t wait to share them with you all!

Thank you to everyone who came out in that heat yesterday to watch our Fall Friends and Family Sneak Peek of our field Show Mosaic. It was wonderful to see so many faces in the stands!

Also very special thank you to our Alumni for making it! We miss you all!

But most of ALL thank you to the Loewenthal and Hoglund families for donating pizza on Fridays for the kids. Your kindness means the world to us and the kids think you rock! Thank to all of the families who donated snacks! Feeding these kids was no easy task! This program is what it is because we have you and for that we’re immensely and eternally grateful!

Good morning! Happy final day of Band Camp!! Today we have a few morning messages.

FRESHMAN..it’s your turn! Please check the pic below to see when you need to head up to the library for your orientation.

After all that time in the hot hot sun. 80 hours of camp to be exact, and learning more than you ever thought possible, it’s time to have a little fun!

Today we invite everyone to come and get a sneak peek of this year’s field show Mosaic at 1:30PM in the Simi High Stadium. It WILL be hot so please bring umbrellas, easy ups or fans anything you may need to help keep you cool.

Today’s also the final day of Spirit week. It’s dress like your section! Who can make their section stand out the most?? Wear a t-shirt color that matches your section.

They did it..80 hrs in the hot hot sun! 🥵 Now that they’ve learned all the things it’s time to have a little fun! We’ll celebrate with an end of camp party! Wear clothes today you don’t mind getting wet in! 💦 🎈 we’ll also have pizza 🍕 .
