PLEASE BE ADVISED: For our SVUSD families, our mass communications system Blackboard, is not working. This is a systemwide issue on the company's end, not on ours. They have told us that it won't be operating again through tomorrow. This is the system used to send out school newsletters, absence notifications, messages and alerts from the district and the schools. Thank you.

A huge shoutout to our awesome Simi Valley High School cheerleaders and drum line for bringing the energy and school spirit bright and early — you truly got us moving! 🥁📣

We’re so thankful to Superintendent Dr. Youssef and Trustee Dawn Smollen, Simi Valley School Board for joining us and supporting our students — your presence made the morning even more special. 🙌

Tomorrow is Walk to School Day and Domino’s is the hot lunch choice! It’s going to be a great day!

Please consider supporting Simi Valley PTA Council and Junior Olympics with a dine out night at Chick-fil-A on Wednesday. The proceeds will be used towards the necessary timing equipment. Remember to show the flyer when ordering.

Reminder - Back to School Night is tomorrow night(8/21). Join us at 5:30 for the PTA Association meeting. Mrs. Estrada will introduce the teachers and then deliver her principal’s message beginning at 5:45. Classroom presentations will be at 6:00 and 6:30. This night is for parents and guardians to hear an overview of the curriculum and classroom expectations.
