Congratulations to Mrs. Taft! At the 2025 Ventura County Educators’ Hall of Fame banquet, she received a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD! Mrs. Taft has dedicated over 45 years to educating young children and will retire at the end of July. We are so thankful and blessed for all the years she has devoted to CrossRoads!

In our toddler yard one of our parents fixed up our garden and planted a bunch of fun vegetables!! On Friday the butter and romaine lettuce were ready to be harvested as well as the bok choy. Ms. Maria and Mrs. Claudia assisted the kids in harvesting the vegetables so they could make a salad!!

“Help!” said Toad “I cannot see anything.” “Don’t be silly,” said Frog. “What you see is the clear warm light of April. And it means that we can begin a whole new year together, Toad. Think of it,” said Frog. “We will skip through the meadows and run through the woods and swim in the river. In the evenings we will sit right here on this front porch and count the stars.”

Last night our amazing staff opened up their classrooms for our Spring Open House! They all did a wonderful job and put in so much hard work and effort into making everything look so cute! 🌈🩷🥳
