Santa Susana Performing Arts Boosters

Unfortunately, all of the Dance shows scheduled for Thursday, Friday & Saturday will be canceled as a result of the SVUSD closures due to the fires in our area. We are heartbroken for all those dance students and tech crew who have been so dedicated and worked so hard on their last show but the safety and well being of our students and families is at the forefront of this decision. An email was sent out with information regarding refund options. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Due to the SVUSD closures tomorrow, we have cancelled the Booster meeting, it will not be rescheduled. We hope all our Troubadour families remain safe. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work this year. To our Senior parents, you will be greatly missed, we wish you and your Grad all the best on your next adventure. We look forward to seeing new and returning parent Boosters next September!

Last Saturday, Abbe Road had the wonderful opportunity to perform at the Verdugo Hills A Ca****la Scholarship Festival at Glendale High School’s beautiful Performing Arts Center.

We were honored to share the stage with fourteen incredibly talented choirs, and we are so grateful to have placed 2nd while receiving a $7,500 scholarship to support our program.

A heartfelt thank you to the Verdugo Hills Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, and the John C. Hench Foundation for their generous support of music education and young performers. We are truly thankful to have been part of such an inspiring event.

Naturalization Ceremony at the Reagan Library💓🎶 absolutely loved getting to be apart of such an amazing event, and SO proud of our upcoming Abbe Road members who got to join us in their first Abbe Road performance! Who’s excited for next year!?!?🫶

SSHS Student Music Video Project

This project brought together nearly 100 students across six different departments, showcasing the incredible collaboration, talent, and dedication of our visual and performing arts students.

We were able to film this project in one day at the District sound stage (Arroyo West Studios). The final project is finished and we are excited to share it with you!

Santa Susana Vocal Music is honored to invite you to Cafe Troubadour: Reminiscence, our culminating show of the school year. The evening will be filled with music that now only reflects our joy for singing, but that will take you on a journey of fond memories. Members of Vocal Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Show Choir, and Abbe Road A Ca****la, as well as small groups and solo selections, have been working hard to finish this year with some incredible music. Cafe Troubadour is doing something new this year, we are having an auction! There will be fabulous items to bid on each night so get ready to place your bid and have some fun! We will also, have our traditional free patio show on Friday at 5:00 pm before the evening concert so bring your family and friends and enjoy all that is Cafe Troubadour. The Santa Susana Dance Department is thrilled to dazzle audiences of all ages with our spring dance concert, On the Corner of Main Street and Broadway! This show celebrates music and dance from beloved Disney and Pixar films as well as your favorite Broadway shows. On the Corner of Main Street and Broadway features class pieces choreographed by SSHS dance faculty Trevor Lynskey, Jess Coffman and Guynemer Caceres, as well as specialty pieces choreographed by artists in residence, Crystal Zibalese and Amanda Winner.
