Out tovcars and coffee at the Reagan library in simi.valley
First long distance drive started running rough and couldn't get a good charge from alternator. All gears worked except first which would pop out as i got to point of shifting to second .we were ther early but I'd left my phone at home on charger .Trevor took his ranchero and took these pics to remember our success. Lots new hobbies to do. Ran better on drive home...no big hills

Boy its getting hot out here,was working in valley yesterday but temps were too brutal to drive jalopy .
So out this morning at dawn but had to renew insurance on jalopy before going to cars and coffee in conejo valley ...out there after throwing some gas in ....good turnout but need to get home before hottest part of day comes...

Down in channel islands in ventura at the British car show.lovely cool by the water on grass park .heresa bit of what was there.....

1st and third Saturdays of month. Had to move moggys and dig jalopy out of garage .....threw in some gas and headed out on freeway ....good chin wags and coffee .....

After long day at work I stopped by the rock n roll Cafe in simi as I was in edsel.drove very well down to Hollywood and back even in the heat .rides better over the potholes and scrappy streets of LA.

Been a heck of a weekend between working and rain .got to cars and coffee sunday at Reagan library.stepped out door and looked like it might rain but as not far I got the moggy out .Trevor followed in his ranchero and we were some of first there .no rain and donuts and coffee were out ....cars kept coming in not as many as usual but a good turnout.... here's a little of what was there lots pictures did not come out as phone was acting up....

Had to work yesterday so no cars and coffee .this morning was up early fed cats and got Edsel ranger out and cruised ove...

Had to work yesterday so no cars and coffee .this morning was up early fed cats and got Edsel ranger out and cruised over to superrcar sunday at pierce college
Freeway was quiet and after warming up we stretched our legs on freeway cruising at 65 ,more than the moggy sees.
Super heat seems to have finished Thursday with temps in 106 range but now clouds are coming in ,monsoon soon?

Picked up the suburban in lake Isabella at brother in law s ,richards where he had done head gaskets and checked for any damage to heads ....late getting away and by time we got to bottom of grapevine it was 104 .waited an hour for it to cool down .started up and 2 miles up hit a huge pothole which caused some wire to short ,got to hardshoulder miraculously and open the hood to find to spark plug leads on fire .aaa came in forty minutes and flatbedded it home....turns out the ecu fuse had popped .New wires and a fuse and back up and running last night......life happens .....have been working last 4 weeks straight so no time to do it myself as head is such a big job and didn't want no yard artlanguishing in driveway ....rather paint indoors and make some money to pay for these jobs....
