From Pre-K to Kindergarten! 🎒🌟

Today our Pre-K friends got a little glimpse of what’s waiting for them in kindergarten! They visited the kindergarten classroom, participated in a fun STEAM activity, and had the chance to explore and learn alongside their future school community. 🧪✨

Kindergarten Information Night is coming up Monday, October 5 at 6:00 PM. Families will have the opportunity to meet the kindergarten teacher and principal, learn more about the program, ask questions, and get a behind-the-scenes look at kindergarten.

🍽️ Dinner & childcare provided if needed.
đź“… RSVP by September 28th!

Today’s little visit… tomorrow’s big adventure! 💛🎓

Dear Families,

After continued monitoring of the Sandy Fire conditions, guidance from local authorities, and improvements in air quality and overall safety in our area, we are thankful to share that our school and preschool will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, May 21.

We are grateful for the care and caution shown across our community during this time. The safety and well-being of our children, families, and staff remains our highest priority, and we are thankful to be able to welcome everyone back to our campuses.

As we reopen, we will continue to remain attentive to any changing conditions and will take all appropriate measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and continued prayers over the past few days. Please continue to keep in your prayers those who have been affected by the fires, as well as the brave firefighters and first responders who serve so selflessly.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for guiding us through these past days. We are grateful for improved conditions and the opportunity to gather together again. We ask that You continue to watch over all those affected by the fires, bringing healing, safety, and restoration. Bless our time back at school, keep our children and staff safe, and fill our campus with Your peace and presence.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen 🙏❤️

Dear Trinity Families,

After continued monitoring of the Sandy Fire conditions, local safety recommendations, air quality concerns, and ongoing uncertainty in surrounding areas, our school and preschool will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20.
Multiple schools, churches, and community organizations throughout and around Simi Valley have suspended operations due to the evolving fire conditions. Simi Valley Unified School District has also announced closures for Wednesday as a precautionary safety measure.
We understand the inconvenience that unexpected closures may cause for families, and we do not make these decisions lightly. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our children, families, and staff. As a Christian school community, we are prayerfully seeking to make decisions that are both wise and God-pleasing as we care for those entrusted to us.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will communicate any additional updates regarding Thursday as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and prayers during this time. Please continue praying for the safety of first responders, affected families, and our entire community.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your protection over our families, our school, our firefighters and first responders, and all those affected by the fires. Bring safety, peace, wisdom, and comfort to our community, and help us trust in Your care through uncertain times. Amen.

Dear Trinity Families,
With today’s Sandy Fire situation, it has been decided amongst senior staff here at Trinity Church and Schools to err on the side of caution and follow suit with Simi Valley Unified School District. With that being said Trinity Lutheran Church and Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19th. We will reevaluate this time tomorrow for Wednesday. Please also note that Wiggle Church, Bridge Kids and Confirmation classes will be canceled as well. Keeping all of our families impacted by this fire in our prayers.

A great big “Thank You” to everyone who donated socks during Sock-tober to help three amazing charities; Casa Pacifica, Sarah’s House and Samaritan Center. Between our campus, Good Shepherd and our wonderful Church Congregation over 500 pairs of socks are being donated. Your donations make a huge difference and will help so many families stay warm as we enter these cooler months. We are blessed by your generosity!
