Mrs. Henderson chose Amiya as her CKH winner for empathy! Amiya is a kind and caring friend who is always ready to help others. She notices when a classmate needs help and is happy to lend a hand. She is supportive, thoughtful, and makes sure others feel included. We love the way she shows kindness and cares about her classmates every day!

In a day of great economic hardship for families and children, Soles for Children Inc., now in its 11th year of service, is holding a free giveaway of new coats and shoes for Quad-Cities Children in need.

Please plan to attend ONE of the following events: Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the Martin Luther King Center in Rock Island or Sunday, September 27, 2027 at the TMBC Lincoln Resource Center in Davenport.

In addition to coats and shoes, children can get free haircuts/styles, free food, plus hats, mittens, and socks.

PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT WITH CHILDREN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SHOES AND COATS!
