That’s a wrap, just finished my 4th Year teaching ☀️ It never gets easy to say goodbye to all my beautiful kiddos 😭

Throughout this year, I have watched them learn, grow, make friends, overcome challenges, and discover new things. Every child brings something different to my classroom, and it has been a joy getting to know each of them on so many different levels ☀️

Thank you for all the smiles, laughter, hugs, songs, stories, and memories we have shared. I am so proud of everything you have accomplished and all the hard work you have put in this year! Congratulations to my 4 Kids who have graduated and are moving on to kindergarten ❤️ and for the 5 who are returning back… I cannot wait to see you this Fall! ☀️

It’s been a busy last few weeks before the end of the school year ☀️ This year has flown by! Probably the fastest year I’ve ever had since I started teaching 😔 It’s never easy to say goodbye.

Here’s a fun experiment to do a home…most likely you have all the supplies already.

“The magic milk”

This experiment creates a colorful, and swirling explosion of art by using dish soap to break down fat molecules in milk. I love doing this experiment because it is a safe, and an easy STEM activity for preschoolers.

☀️☀️What you will need…

-Milk (you really don’t need very much milk) skin milk will spread faster, but if you use thicker milk, it will look more marbled
-Dish soap
-Qtip
-Food coloring
-A plate or a bowl

One of my preschooler’s mom brought a bird nest she had found laying on the ground, and this inspired us to make our own nests “nidos” 🪺 We even had a perfect book to read to go with our art project 🐦

I would like to thank Lara Ghio Gaitan for letting me use her preschool garage space for my popup sale! Also, if anyone is looking for a preschool, my daughter went there for 2 years and I couldn’t recommend you all enough for her bilingual school! Lara is so amazing with kids and my daughter loved her so much. 😊🩷

What an eventful week ☀️ 🐝 finally planted some veggies and fruit (thankful for the rain this weekend)…. And got to visit one of my student’s family restaurant Los Girasoles Mexican restaurant and bakery
If you haven’t gone to Los Girasoles, you should 😋 delicious food!

This month we’re learning all about bugs and transportation ☀️
