And, sure, Texas wines can be all over the page.
😁🍷🤠

But I keep finding more and more Texas wines that I love… and as a Texan, I just gotta share ‘em!! ❤️❤️

Hi there, I’m Amy!😁

I’m so glad you paused to take a look and learn more about me. 🫶

📍I’m based in North Houston and have lived in Texas most of my life. (I’ve also called Florida, VA and MD home at times.)

⭐️I started drinking wine in 1994, in hopes of impressing a date. Guess it worked—- he’s now my husband. 💍

🍷 I launched VineSleuth/ .me in 2010, after a trip to Napa with my husband and 2 other couples. I was inspired to find a better way to explore wines (and know what they might taste like) than studying 📚or gambling 🎲

✈️ I’ve visited vineyards on 4 continents over the years, sometimes on vacation, but most often for work. (But it often feels like vacation!!)

🤠 I volunteer as a Vice Chairman of Winery Relations for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s International Wine Competition

💚💜I’m also the National President of

Oh— and I’m a mom to three kids 😍who aren’t kids anymore. 🤩

I love helping people find new wines that will enjoy… and helping awesome winery owners and winemakers find new people to enjoy their wines!
