Some people see swim instructors, but these people (and Mrs Montana 🩷) are another reason why quitting is never an option, even when I have nothing left.
This picture is proof that Haley’s Little Fish has always been about so much more than swimming lessons. It’s about showing up for one another through every season of life, the good, the bad, the celebrations, and the heartbreak.
As I stood saying goodbye to my mom, these incredible people stood beside me. They weren’t there because they had to be. They were there because we are a family. We laugh together, cry together, celebrate together, and carry each other when life feels too heavy to stand alone.
My mom was my biggest supporter. She believed in this dream long before it became what it is today, and she taught me what it means to love people well, work hard, and never give up. Every life we impact through swimming is because she helped shape the person I am. I will never let that fade.
I’m more determined now than ever to continue building Haley’s Little Fish in a way that would make her proud. To keep reaching more families, teaching more children, and making our community safer, one swimmer at a time. I want to honor her in every single thing that I do.
