To go along with the food unit this month with the Spanish Every Day calendar. We watched this video and made our own chocolate caliente this week! We also did an experiment to see which dissolved our hot chocolate packet fastest - agua frio o agua caliente! To continue our "bate" (mixing) fun, we made colored rice by adding "un poco" de agua and food coloring to our rice!

That was fun...and maybe a little dangerous for us beginners! Accidentally flipped my daughter over at one point! Next week will be better, right?! We're going to add this to our Friday homeschool routine!
