Dear SSMS Families and Students,
I hope you had a chance to relax, spend time with family, and enjoy everything that summer has to offer.
While summer always seems to fly by, our staff has been hard at work getting Silver Stage Middle School
ready for another great school year. We can't wait to welcome everyone back!
Whether your child is returning to SSMS or joining us for the first time, we are excited to have them as
part of the Nighthawk family. Middle school is a time when students grow in so many ways: They
become more independent, discover new interests, make lasting friendships, and learn lessons that reach
far beyond the classroom. It's an exciting time, and we're honored to be part of that journey.
This year, our goal is simple: create a school where every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and
excited to come to school each day. Learning is important, but so are the relationships we build along the
way. When students know they belong, they are more willing to take risks, work through challenges, and
reach their full potential.
As I begin my third year as principal at Silver Stage Middle School, I'm even more excited about where
we're headed. We have an outstanding team that genuinely cares about kids, and we're committed to
providing every student with a place where they feel welcomed, challenged, and supported. This year,
we'll continue building on that foundation by focusing on what matters most:
-Building strong relationships with every student.
-Creating classrooms where learning is engaging and meaningful.
-Encouraging students to work hard, be responsible, and treat others with kindness and respect.
-Celebrating growth, effort, and success, both big and small.
We also know that a successful school year doesn't happen without great families. Thank you for trusting
us with your children. Your support, encouragement, and partnership make a tremendous difference, and
we truly appreciate everything you do.
Our staff is excited about the year ahead, and I believe this is going to be a great one. Together, we'll continue building a school where students feel connected, teachers love what they do, and everyone takes
pride in being a Nighthawk.
Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we'll see you soon.
Go Nighthawks!
