Maria-Luz Family Childcare I am a licensed family child care provider in Montgomery County, MD. Here the kids learn with fun =)

We are an accredited family daycare by the National Association for Family Child Care, Maryland Excels Level Five under the Maryland State Dept of Education, Maryland Child Care Credential Level Four Plus and Child Development Advocate (CDA). We encourage personal productivity, physical and mental well-being. Also, we promote a culture that supports children's desire to make healthy lifestyle choices. My Family Child Care curriculum program is based on learning through play and incorporating science, language arts, music, social development, social studies and math.

Thank you so much to my community for recognizing my hard work and nominating me for the Montgomery County Early Care and Education Award for the Infant and Toddler Educator Excellence Award of the year. I am so grateful to be apart of early childhood education, shaping our future generations. I will continue to raise the bar and show up.

Also, what a pleasure to have attended the child care support services conference: Your Story, Your Voice: Craft Your Narrative to Spark Change. We refreshed our memory on government structures and ways to showcase our work and maximize our educator experience. The conference reminded us to gain advocacy as child care providers to participate on a federal and local level. We must stay informed.
