On the feast day of St. Joseph of Cupertino, the patron saint of studying, we blessed our SJE backpacks and teacher bags for the school year. 🎒Father Calis made sure no bag was missed! This extended our weekly Friday all school mass where students lead and take part in the liturgy. All are invited. 💚💛

We honored the events of 9/11 with a heart felt prayer service led by our 8th graders. We will always remember. 💚💛🙏🏽

Our 5th-8th graders celebrated Literary Day today to discuss their summer reading books. Each grade had a chosen book and had to prepare to share a VIP (very important passage) with their classmates. It was a great day to share our opinions, observations, and thoughts on our books.📚Reading opens up our world beyond our classrooms, and we can’t wait to see all the places our students visit in books this year!!

For Jack Clinton, a member of the Class of 2026 at St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Maryland, attending the coeducational Catholic high school established by the Pallottine Sisters enhanced his already strong Catholic faith.

We did it!!! And with our day ending, we have concluded our 75th school year. Happy Summer break to all of our students, faculty/staff, and families. We hope you enjoy and get some rest. Be proud of all you have accomplished this year. Just as Fr. Paul said at mass today, “You don’t take time off from learning…and make your summer challenge you!” We will see you in late August!! 📚🍎☀️
