🌟 Meet David, one of our amazing finalists representing ScienceMONTGOMERY at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)! 🌍🔬

When asked why he’s interested in physics, David shared:
✨ “What initially started as an investigation into a graph theory concept for modeling behaviors in nature later became an opportunity to experiment with current research on quantum algorithms for humans, which intrigued me by physics' vast potential within quantum computing... ”

💡 For his ISEF project, David developed a quantum computational model that simulates semantic vocabulary using superposition and entanglement. This novel approach could improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical tests for neurodegenerative diseases—paving the way for better understanding and treatment.

Let’s all cheer David on as he takes this cutting-edge research to the global stage! 👏🧠

💫Get to Know Our 2025 ISEF Finalists!

Meet Mahilan Guha from Montgomery Blair High School, one of the brilliant minds representing ScienceMONTGOMERY at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Ohio!

Mahilan has a passion for computational biology, a field that combines biology, computer science, and math to solve complex problems. He loves how it allows him to explore the unknown and use data to understand the mysteries of human health.

His ISEF project dives deep into the discovery of novel autoantigens in IgG4-Related Disease (IgG4-RD), a poorly understood rare autoimmune disorder lacking known disease-specific immune targets — an exciting blend of science and innovation!

👏🏼Let’s send Mahilan our best wishes as he prepares to present on the international stage!
