Mengli Sha, dancer name Dr. Sha, was born in Shanghai and started her dance journey through Hip Hop, Locking, and freestyle battle culture. An actual doctor outside of dance, she holds a PhD in Economics — a contrast that shapes her unique balance of precision, control, and raw emotional expression in movement. She joined Urban Artistry in 2024 and is also a member of LCS Crew, a team representing multiple street dance styles. She began her Krump journey in 2023 and now represents under the name Young BRNX. Her movement explores musicality, texture, emotion, and energy through a balance of control and expression.

⚔️TRANSFORMATION BATTLE GUEST:

Inca D. Alchemist, born in Coral Springs and raised in Fort Myers and Cape Coral Florida 🍊, is a dancer with 18 years of experience and 13 years dedicated to the culture. He began dancing in 2008 and took it seriously in 2013. After years of failure and growth, he earned his first major victory at Red Bull Dance Your Style Miami in 2024.

His name reflects his identity and philosophy: “Inca” honors his mother’s lineage, “D.” Can represent either “The” and his birth name Derin ~ meaning “Profound” in Turkish - and “Alchemist” symbolizes his mindset of transforming life, inspiration, and struggle into a transmutation of what is now his artistic style that represents gold with a lot of spark ⚡️ and the love for his people back at home 🍊

Ashli (Ling Shu) from China Shanghai has been dancing since 2011. She is most well known for Locking, but also studies and performs House, Soul Dances, Waacking, and Freestyle.

🏆 Most recently, she won the Juste Debout DC Qualifier for Locking 2v.2, and represented the U.S. in Paris for the Juste Debout Finals!
