At Musa Martial Arts, we stand for more than just Taekwondo—we stand for character.
Bullying, negativity, and “mean girl” behavior have no place in our school. We believe in building each other up, not tearing each other down. Every student who walks through our doors deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported.
Taekwondo is about discipline, confidence, and integrity. That means choosing kindness, showing respect to teammates, and leading by example—on and off the mat.
We are proud to create a positive, family-like environment where students encourage one another, celebrate each other’s growth, and learn the true meaning of strength.
At Musa Martial Arts, strong leaders lift others up.

Musa Martial Arts Demo Team at the Sandy Spring Strawberry Festival! June 7th, 2025

We are incredibly proud of our Demo Team for their outstanding performance at the Sandy Spring Strawberry Festival yesterday! Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit truly shined on stage and wowed the crowd.

Every kick, punch, and board break was a reflection of the countless hours they’ve spent training—and it paid off in a big way! Thank you to our students, families, and supporters who came out to cheer them on. You all made this day even more special.

Let’s keep pushing forward together—strong minds, strong bodies, strong hearts!

We were excited to welcome back our special students from Sherwood High School for another amazing Taekwondo class!
This time, we focused on the power of mind control and body control. Our students took on the challenge of trying to break boards — not just with strength, but with focus, determination, and self-belief.
When you control your mind and body, anything is possible.
We are so proud of each student for stepping up, giving it their best, and learning valuable lessons about discipline, courage, and inner strength.
We can’t wait to see them again after summer break!
Thank you Ms. Jill Portugal Galt for giving us this wonderful opportunity to work with such wonderful group of students!

On March 14th, our studio had the incredible privilege of hosting a special Taekwondo class for some extra special students from Sherwood High School. It was a truly inspiring experience as we welcomed a group of bright, enthusiastic students who were eager to learn, grow, and explore Taekwondo in a unique setting.

The class was designed to be an inclusive and empowering experience, where students could not only learn the fundamentals of Taekwondo but also build confidence, discipline, and teamwork. We focused on creating a positive and supportive environment where every student felt welcomed and encouraged to try their best, no matter their background or experience.

It was a morning filled with high-energy moments, laughter, and a sense of achievement as the students practiced their moves, learned new techniques, and supported one another. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of their journey and hope this experience inspired them to continue pushing themselves, both in Taekwondo and in life.

A huge thank you to the Sherwood High School students and staff for making it so special. We look forward to more collaborative events in the future!

Let's do Taekwondo!

March 1st is Korea’s Independence Movement Day...one of the earliest public displays of Korean resistance during Japan’s rule of Korea. Let us not forget the people who had sacrificed their lives like Mr. Ahn Jung-Geun, Korean Independence Activist. The flag below shows a handprint of Mr. Ahn that is missing the last joint of the ring finger, which he had cut off with his comrades as a pledge to assassinate the Prime Minister Of Japan in order to get back Korean Independence. Korea is Korea today because of people who fought for their country. Musa Martial arts is proud to be part of The Korean culture and we will continue to teach the Korean martial arts to our American families from all different parts of the world!
