Youth Leadership Member Interest Group - YLMIG The Youth Leadership MIG serves as a forum for all those who study, research, practice, teach, or develop leadership among youth. Join us, Barcelona, 2015!

Our Work:

YLMIG is part of the International Leadership Association based in Maryland. With over 2,500 members from more than 70 countries, the ILA is the foremost global membership organization devoted to all those who practice, study, and teach leadership. The ILA Youth Leadership MIG serves as a forum for all those who study, research, practice, teach, or develop leadership among youth and as a context for cross-generational dialogue about the challenges young leaders face now and in the future. The intention of this MIG is to support knowledge and practice for next generation leadership, in collaboration with other ILA MIGs, by building community and connection among all ILA members who hold an interest in this area. Some possible activities include, intergenerational mentorship programs, a presentation track at the global conference, special events or receptions at the global conference, collaboration on youth leadership initiatives, opportunities for exchanges and visits or practice sharing, and articles and blogs on youth leadership.
