Wow! What a lovely end-of-year Picnic we had today! Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration what it was, and we’re so grateful to Greater Grace Community Church for letting us utilize the Upper Garden! The shade, beautiful landscaping, and scenic view of the campus made a tremendous difference.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer — we’ll see you for the start of summer program, or once again in the fall for our next school year!

It may be 2 days from the end of school, but the children are still hard at work discovering new skills and challenging themselves. A favorite has been the Roman Arch material, challenging themselves to find ways of building strong structures that defy gravity!

Today’s the day! The sun is shining, the sun canopy is finally being installed… THE SUN CANOPY IS FINALLY BEING INSTALLED!

We’re so excited that this beautiful shade, made possible by the generosity of our parent body, is going to be up in time for the End-of-Year Picnic!

The crew doing this install are the real MVPs, and in response to why they came to do a professional-grade job for an incredibly generous quote, they said:

“We saw how hard the parents worked together to plant the garden, we can’t help wanting to do our part to make it better for the kids too!”

We're proud of our learning environments for children, and strongly encourage families to consider limiting or avoiding personal screen exposure (handheld devices) for children under 6.

Our Land Stewardship Day was such a success! Parents, students, and staff came together to build, dig, haul, and plant! We’re so grateful to our wonderful community, and we can’t wait to fill all these lovely beds with flowers, veggies, and other wonderful things for the children to experience and explore.

Summer, here we come!

Our primary students got to see the excitement as our delivery of stone and soil made it to the campus for our Land Stewardship Day tomorrow!

A day with a dump truck is always better!

We had such a fun morning hosting our 1st Annual Earth Day Clothing Exchange! Neighbors, friends, alumni, and current families came together to share clothes, laughter, and ideas for a more sustainable community.

We are so grateful to our Parent Leadership Team for organizing this event, Ms. Debra for cultivating and sharing knowledge about native plants that were for sale, and to all who donated clothes!

All clothing donations not given away today were donated forward to ensure their impact continues to spread out into our community!

We’re so grateful to Greater Grace Community Church for the installation of our new fence! Soon, parents will come together for our Land Stewardship day to plant, trim, build, and beautify our little piece of paradise.

Years in the making, we can’t wait for y’all to see it in person!

We're so excited to welcome Ms. Monica to our school as an incoming Primary Assistant in Mr. Frank's class! With an incredible background in Spanish education, psychology, and childcare, we already feel the tremendous impact her presence has on the team. Help us give her a warm welcome to the school community!

We had such a nice time being able to slow down and express our gratitude to Ms. Patricia for her years of service to Rock Creek. Thank you to all who brought in cards, notes, and gifts to celebrate her as she and her daughter prepare to take time for wellness and rest.

Laughter, tears, hopes, and fond memories; Evidence of a tremendous impact she’s had on our school community. While we surely will adapt, grow, and change for the better as a school, things will never quite be the same without her joyous spirit.
