We had such an amazing time last night at Back to School Night, the first time it was held in-person since Covid!

Parents got to connect over dinner, get excited for the start of the school year, and explored our collective vision of community and service as a school for the year ahead.

The evening concluded with the dedication of our beautiful Peace Pole in the garden, a symbol of gratitude for all the work the parent community has done for our school.

For a year rooted in Joyful Presence, this was a wonderful way to begin!

The first week of Aya Reeves’ amazing Sharing Hub project with our school has been full of fun, excitement, curiosity, and hands on, imaginative art!

Every minute during the sessions seems to be filled with students saying insightful, wonderful things about leadership, community, love, and accomplishing goals as a team.

We can’t wait to see how this project materializes into a supportive resource for our school and surrounding neighbors!

It may be 2 days from the end of school, but the children are still hard at work discovering new skills and challenging themselves. A favorite has been the Roman Arch material, challenging themselves to find ways of building strong structures that defy gravity!
