Last night was an unforgettable moment.
Out of 100 applications, only 19 providers were selected to receive a Forgivable Facility Improvement Loan through the Montgomery County ECE Investment Fund — a combination of family child care homes and child care centers. I was honored to be chosen to speak at the county celebration.
This recognition means so much — not just for LadyBug, but for every child care provider in Montgomery County who shows up every single day for our youngest learners.
To my fellow recipients, congratulations. To the families who have trusted LadyBug over the years — thank you. This is for all of us.

Always learning. 📚 Spent the day at the Family Child Care Association of Montgomery County conference soaking it all up — and got to snap a photo with my amazing ASPIRE coach. This work matters and so does the village behind it. 🐞

We officially started our Human Body study this week at LadyBug — and I am here for every single second of it.
The curiosity in this room right now is unreal. We’re exploring X-rays, creating self-portraits, experimenting with blubber, and yes — playing Operation like the tiny surgeons we are.

This one holds a special place in my heart.
She started with me as a baby. I watched her grow, learned her personality, celebrated her milestones. Her family trusted me with her earliest years and that's not something I take lightly.
She's in high school now.
And we're still in touch.
That's the thing no credential can measure and no checklist can capture. When the relationship outlasts the program, when a family stays connected years down the road — that's the work I'm most proud of.
This is why I do what I do. 🐞
