🍎☀️ Summer meals are now available!

Children 18 and younger can receive free, nutritious meals at locations across Montgomery County through the MCPS Summer Food Service Program.

With more than 100 meal sites available, families can access breakfast and lunch throughout the summer at no cost.

A Gift from Your Fairland ES PTA
The Fairland ES PTA is delighted to donate these two beautiful, durable benches to our school community.

Our hope is that they provide a welcoming place for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and families to sit, relax, and connect while waiting for students after clubs and activities. We know many of you spend time outside the building, and we wanted to create a comfortable space where neighbors can gather, chat, and get to know one another.

These benches also commemorate the completion of our new Principal's first year at Fairland—a small token of appreciation as we celebrate an unforgettable year together.

We've already received such wonderful feedback from several staff members about this addition, and we're so grateful to know they're appreciated. We hope these benches become a place where friendships begin, conversations are shared, and our strong Fairland community continues to grow.

Please note: The benches may be temporarily relocated until Building Services is able to securely anchor them to the ground.

Please disregard the message in tonight’s newsletter regarding photos and bios being posted to our PTA board that was sent out IN ERROR by the school. THE PTA DID NOT SUBMIT NOR AUTHORIZE THAT MESSAGE.

The FES PTA will be announcing candidate info in our own way, on our timeline, and it is NOT something that is handled by the school.

The Advisory Committee on Communication and Community Engagement is looking for passionate, skilled individuals to help strengthen district communications and ensure all voices are heard.

For 2026-2027, the Committee's focus will be on the upcoming elementary boundary study and on developing a communication and engagement plan.
