I hope you’re as choosy about your brow artist as we are about who we take on as a brow cover-up client!

I frequently get calls from unhappy clients about covering up brow work from other artists and I often have to deny many of them.

Why?

Think of permanent makeup as graffiti. Now imagine seeing old graffiti covered with new graffiti. Sometimes it looks good, but many times it doesn’t. 🤭

Please ladies, when choosing a permanent makeup artist or trainer, make sure you have seen countless pics, videos, and before/afters of their work!

Do not choose an artist based on cost alone… Remember, this is one of the first things people will see when they look at your face or your clients’ face.

I was able to work with the client above to cover up her old brow tattoo.

The truth is most artist only post pictures of their younger client’s. The reason why…
1. The skin is easier to work with allowing for more beautiful work
2. The face structure is more symmetric which makes their work A LOT easier
3. The facial muscles are more relaxed allowing them to create perfect brows without having to take each of the brows into account as much.

Let’s face it…most brow clients aren’t 25.

At Dollface Beaut, we pride ourselves on being able to perform great work on all ages (I’ve tattooed a 70 year old’s brows). This is important because with time the skin changes, the face becomes less symmetric as the muscles start to protrude, and facial muscles tend to be more pronounced with over use. All these things need to be taken in account as the technique will need to vary.

So yes we can oooooh and aaaaaah over “PERFECT” brows, but most of your clients aren’t coming to you because their brows are “IDEAL”.

Happy New Year beauts…

It’s been a while since we have connected and I’ve missed y’all. What have you been up to?

I took a break from Instagram to reset and refocus. Running a business gets overwhelming at times and consistently posting on social media is a job in itself. 😫

I want to thank you all for your support and helping in its growth. With your support, we achieved some of our highest monthly revenues in 2021. Despite all that’s going on in the world, you all showed out and my team and I are very appreciative!♥️

This year (and what feels like every year lol) we are rebranding, expanding, and sharing more of our passion with you. You’ll see more of my team, our behind the scenes, and our new offerings. 🤩
