I am saddened to announce the death of 2020 inductee and LTI founder Jeff Schultz. Anyone who knew him, even if only briefly, knew what a wonderful man he was. I’d like to share the Hall of Fame video from that year; Jeff’s portion starts about 04:23 in.

We had a great time today welcoming our 2023 Hall of Fame inductees into the building to speak with students. Looking forward to introducing them to the community tonight – hope to see you there!

One of our Hall of Fame inductees this year, Mary Elliott, is featured in and was a key participant in the making of the new Netflix film, Descendant. Mary is one of the founding curators of the Slavery exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture.
