Last day of Gan was today. I've loved seeing the children learn and grow over the past two years! I'll miss being their Morah!

Gan Shemesh is a part time in home preschool program. At Gan Shemesh, your child shines! Ages 2-4 (turning 5).
We utilize a play based curriculum that incorporates Jewish holidays and age appropriate academics incidentally through experiential and process based learning. It is our mission to partner with you in giving your child a loving and enriching home away from home that will help them thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Happy Lag B'Omer! We made rainbows because there's a teaching that as long as Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai lived, whose Yahzeit is Lag B'Omer, there was no rainbow in the sky due to his righteousness (seeing a rainbow is actually a more ominous sign than one might think!). The children mixed the colors for the rainbows themselves, they've become real pros at it!

We're working on a tzedaka project for Yad Yehuda, a local food pantry. Today we sorted and counted what we have in our tzedaka box so far. We're going to try to get to $100 in the next 3 weeks!
