One of my favorite homecoming traditions was doing face paint/eye designs on my current and former students. I was a little bummed with ending this tradition now being at Lincoln and not seeing former students as 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. My heart was SO happy when a couple Lakesiders sought me out and some cool junior high friends came to find me as well. The tradition continues!! 🐾💜🐾

Bittersweet. I was looking back and I have 9 of my 11 years of teaching third grade documented on this page—Wow!! I do not have the heart to delete this page or even to change the name of it to reflect my new adventure, so…
I’ll (eventually) be starting a new class page to document the learning journey of my upcoming SECOND graders!! 💁🏼‍♀️💜🐾 Mrs. Z is heading to from Lakeside to Lincoln!! 🙃
