MUSTANGS, GREAT RACE 59 IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! 🏎✨

On April 18th, join the Western New Mexico University’s Alumni & Friends team, ‘The Original Mustangs’, a group of alumni, friends, WNMU Staff, Faculty and family, come together each year to participate in WNMU’s longest running tradition, the Great Race.

The Alumni & Friends team was created to give everyone an opportunity to join in this exciting tradition. The WNMU Alumni Association's Great Race committee works hard at fundraising and bringing awareness of the work we do as an association in support of Western New Mexico University.

We want your participation this year! Push the cart up cardiac hill, hit the mud pit, and bring the family for a whole day of fun!

Pushers and Volunteers will receive a FREE event t-shirt courtesy of the WNMU Alumni Association.

Everyone must pre-register using the link provided, event waivers will need to be completed prior to the start of the race.

Today, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jose Coll, Ph.D. as the university’s 16th president. With a strong commitment to student success, community engagement and the future of accessible higher education and training, Dr. Coll will lead WNMU into a new chapter of growth and opportunity.
