A state licensed child care program serving families with elementary aged children (ages 5-12) after school until 5:30 and on some full days (7:30 AM-5:30 PM) when children are not in school - a ministry of the Silver City Church of Christ. Philosophy
Matthew 22:37-38 states: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the
first and greatest commandment. We honor God by seeking His will found in the His Word, the Holy Bible. We learn and teach about God each day in our child care program. Knowledge of God is also absorbed through the environment, such as verses from the Bible displayed on our walls and in art work. We, as staff, strive to set a good example for children in our care as we follow the example of Christ. We love our neighbor and believe every person is of value to our community, to our world, and to God. We seek to appreciate each person as an individual created by God with a unique personality and abilities and to accept each person with love. We understand that all people are on a path of self-growth. Our goal is to promote an atmosphere that seeks God’s will in all things, encourages the exploration of many interests, promotes respect and appreciation for self and others through failure and success, and encourages getting along with others.
