Hey there classmates!
During our reunion in July, several of you mentioned Mr. Harry Markowich- the auto mechanics teacher at Silver High- and what a great teacher and mentor he had been.
We were so sad to hear that Mr. Markowich passed away Sept. 3 after battling Parkinson's disease for several years. If you would like to send condolences, please message Kara Leach Ashbaugh privately for his family's address. Instead of flowers, you may make a donation to Parkinson's research in his name 💝

Good morning fellow SHS alums! 🌞
We have received a few messages asking about prices, so we wanted to let you know how we are handling $$.
We are doing our best to keep everything "pay-as-you-go" (meaning you can pay individually for whatever you chose to attend) EXCEPT for the dinner at the Buckhorn Saturday evening.
Because they are preparing a buffet for us and allowing us to use the Opera House for a GREAT price, we will collect the money for that from you when you arrive. The Buckhorn will be sending us the menu options and price the first week of July, so we will update you as soon as they let us know.

Dear SHS Classmates,
We are so excited to meet up again soon for our 40th high school reunion! Please see the attached agenda for the weekend. There are still a few details that need confirming, but we are writing to ask you to PLEASE RSVP as soon as possible for:
* the Friday afternoon gathering at the Little Toad Creek restaurant/brewery
* the Silver High tour on Saturday,
* the Saturday evening dinner at the Buckhorn Saloon and Restaurant in Pinos Altos.
Please let us know how many people in your party will be attending each of those events.

Our dates are finally confirmed!! 🥳🥳🥳
We will begin our reunion with a mixer on Friday evening, July 21st (time to be announced, but later after dinner time).
On Saturday we hope to have some suggested daytime activities, including a tour of Silver High School, followed by a buffet dinner at the Buckhorn in the Old Opera House.
Events will conclude with a family picnic lunch on Sunday, July 23rd at Gomez Peak Pavilion south of the Little Walnut picnic ground.

To keep costs down, we have planned and are fairly certain that the only paid commitment anyone will need to make is for the buffet at the Opera House, and that info is forthcoming soon. Everyone will take care of their own lodging arrangements, their drinks at the mixer, and their own picnic foods on Sunday.

Anyone from the Class of '83, as well as graduating classes '81-85 are welcome!! Please RSVP here or at [email protected]

Class of 1983's 40th reunion is coming up! We would like to include those of you who attended Silver High during 1981-1985 to join us.
