Both of our facilities will be OPEN tomorrow Friday 9/3 for regular business hours!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thank you for being patient with us this week! We are spending today restocking refrigerators and freezers and setting up milk deliveries etc. Neither location sustained any damages to the buildings or playgrounds except a small section of fencing in Silsbee and our signage in Lumberton. Both of which are repairable and/or replaceable and do not affect our operation. We look forward to seeing everyone in the morning!!! 😁

School aged children will be WELCOMED tomorrow at both locations!!!!!

REMINDER!! Both locations will be CLOSED Monday 9/7 in observance of Labor Day.

The Lumberton facility will continue to be CLOSED Thursday 9/3. We appreciate your understanding. We are still without power and Lumberton ISD will also be closed tomorrow.

Operational update 9/2 12:36PM

The Silsbee facility will remain CLOSED Thursday 9/3 due to the ongoing power outage and the continued closure of Silsbee ISD.

No decision has been made yet regarding the Lumberton facility for Thursday 9/3. It also continues to be without power. We will update you as quickly as possible as we get more information regarding tomorrow. Thank you for your patience!!

Operational Update 9/1 8:45PM

BOTH locations will be CLOSED Wednesday 9/2

Additional information has been provided by area officials and electricity is not expected to be restored in time to open tomorrow. In addition there are downed trees and power lines in many areas across the entire county. For these reasons we will continue to be CLOSED at both locations tomorrow 9/2. Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and off the roads to allow crews to continue to work.

🚨9/2 8:13PM Operational Update🚨

We are currently experiencing power outages at BOTH locations. At this time there is no way to guarantee our opening tomorrow. We will graciously allow Entergy crews to work through the night in hopes that power is able to be restored. We will make a final decision in the morning and make an announcement at 5:30AM 9/2 regarding tomorrow’s operations once we are able to determine if electricity has been restored overnight. We understand any inconvenience this may cause. Please continue to pray for the safety of our first responders and electrical lineman as they continue to be very busy overnight. Thank you and may God continue to bless and keep each of you.

Updated Weather related information regarding the Silsbee location

The Silsbee facility will be CLOSED Tuesday in consideration of the very high likelihood of severe weather forecast to impact our area Tuesday 9/1. We will NOT be open and will NOT be providing school transportation.

Although morning impacts are expected to be minimal, heavy rains and gusty winds are forecast to increase throughout the day, during the afternoon, and into tomorrow evening. As a family-owned business we strongly consider the well-being of our employees and each individual and will choose their safety first. We would always rather “be safe than sorry.” However, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you understand. These decisions are never made lightly. Please be safe and we encourage everyone to make the decisions that are best you for and your family. All things considered we feel this is what’s best for ours at this time. We are expecting to resume normal business at both locations on Wednesday 9/2. We will continue to make any further announcements as needed.

WEATHER RELATED CLOSURE INFORMATION:

The Lumberton facility will be CLOSED due to weather Tuesday 9/1. At this time, we are expecting to resume normal business on Wednesday 9/2.

Regarding our Silsbee location: We are still continuing to closely monitor a rapidly changing weather situation and we are doing our best to provide a timely decision so our families can plan accordingly. Typically, in weather related scenarios each of our locations follow the school district of their prospective local community. At this time Lumberton ISD has closed and Silsbee ISD has announced they are also monitoring reports and they have made NO closures or changes to their schedule. With that being said, above all we value the safety of each child, family member, and employee. Decisions of this magnitude affect so many people and are never taken lightly. We will make a final decision and announcement regarding our Silsbee location by 9:30PM tonight.
