What a morning! Mayor Nation and City Clerk Kim Smith joined us at the VFW for a special Resolution signing — and this one came straight from our Constitution Camp campers!

Our campers didn’t just vote — they showed ID, cast their ballots, and watched their choices go all the way to the City Board for an official vote. Mayor Nation signed it into a City Resolution. Talk about a full civics lesson in action!

The Board passed the resolutions for Favorite Flower (Sunflowers) and Favorite Candy (Nerds Gummy Clusters) unanimously!

Join us Tuesday evening at the Siloam Springs Board of Directors meeting as campers bring their resolutions to the Board to vote on Siloam Springs’ favorite candy and flower! The campers loved the opportunity to cast their ballots! The Board meets currently at the Siloam Springs Public Library. Join us at 6 PM for a Meet & Greet Reception and Meeting at 6:30 PM!

Campers will have the opportunity to recite the Preamble for the Board as a group to share what they learned! 🇺🇸

This year we had FOUR incredible mascots bringing the spirit of liberty to life — including a former camper who came back as a volunteer to join the crew! 🦅🇺🇸🗽

From Minuteman’s steady stance, to Lady Liberty lighting the way, to our lovable Bald Eagle stealing hearts (and getting every kid to dance), to Uncle Sam himself rallying the troops — these four brought SO much energy, excitement, and yes… those legendary dance moves that had every camper cheering.

Being a mascot in July heat is no small thing, y’all. The patience, the enthusiasm, the willingness to hug 100+ kids while wearing feathers — that’s dedication. 🙌

Huge thank you to Stanley, Rebekah, Sydney, and Brian for giving your time, your energy, and honestly your whole hearts to make Constitution Camp unforgettable. Our campers adore you, and so do we! ❤️🤍💙

We launched Constitution Camp Siloam Springs in August 2024 — an opportunity to bring civics to life for the kids in our community. In January 2025, we officially launched Rising Patriots as a nonprofit — and Constitution Camp has been our flagship event from day one. This year marked our 3rd Constitution Camp, and what a ride it’s been!

Rising Patriots exists to give kids an enriching experience exploring the responsibilities, rights, and privileges of being an American — through a Biblical lens. Throughout the year you’ll find us in local parades and community events inviting families to camp, and partnering with schools on education opportunities. It’s a year-round mission, not just a one-week event!

Constitution Camp is a COMMUNITY event, put on by Rising Patriots and powered by our team of AMAZING volunteers who give their time because they believe in this mission.

We also want to take a moment to just gush about our host church this year. New Life Church, THANK YOU. You opened your doors, welcomed our campers and families with open arms, and made this year’s camp feel like home. Your generosity and hospitality did not go unnoticed — you made Constitution Camp 2026 possible, and we are endlessly grateful for your partnership.

Constitution Camp would not be what it is without our AMAZING team of volunteers! We are so thankful for each of our volunteers that helped decorate, cooked and prepared meals, prepped registration, worked with kids on reciting the preamble, our MC’s, games, crafts, mascots, election commissioners, floaters, speakers, the VFW, and all the logistics it takes to make the event a success. At camp today, Anthony introduced campers to one of the most powerful — and most overlooked — monuments in American history: the National Monument to the Forefathers in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

It stands 81 feet tall, carved from solid granite. Historians believe it’s the largest freestanding granite monument in the entire world. It took 30 years to build. And almost nobody has heard of it.

At its center stands Faith — 36 feet tall, one hand pointing toward heaven, the other clutching a Bible, her foot planted on a piece of Plymouth Rock itself. Beneath her sit four more figures: Morality, Law, Education, and Liberty — the pillars our forefathers believed had to be built on faith or they wouldn’t stand at all.

Carved into the stone is a line from Governor William Bradford, written centuries ago: out of small beginnings, greater things have been produced.

Here’s why we teach this: America’s story of liberty didn’t start with the Founding Fathers in 1776. It started over 150 years earlier, with a small group of ordinary people who crossed an ocean, risked everything, and planted the seeds of self-government, religious freedom, and the rule of law on a rocky New England shore.

The Founders didn’t invent American liberty. They inherited it — and built on it.

That’s the legacy our campers are standing in today. 🇺🇸
