Around here, we're always constructing something new or repairing something old. The Karen are experts at building quickly with the materials at hand, which is especially important during rainy season. Here, we're making a building to house tuberculosis patients.

Our kitchen staff are often unsung heroes of the RTC campus. These women wake up every weekday at 2 a.m. to start cooking for the rest of us.

Every Thursday, the whole campus gets to eat meat curry. Here, the cooks are carrying the meat from the freezer to the kitchen to cook.

By the time they graduate, our E-tech students' practical skills are unmatched. They can design a house, rebuild an engine, repair a generator, wire a building, and so much more. Without engineers like them, we could never run our clinics or build new ones.

Our Thai foundation office, along with village health volunteers from Ban San Pu Lei, prepared 150 fried rice and pork meal boxes to distribute to villagers in the community. Projects like these help reduce expenses and a little daily labor for villagers who live alone, are elderly, or are unemployed. It was a joy to both our team and the villagers involved! We hope to organize similar meal deliveries a couple times a month.

Our E-tech students use building levels for all sorts of things, such as laying out a building (setting the corners) and checking that the building pad is level. It's helpful for pouring concrete, constructing buildings, and laying out groups of buildings. With more training, the students could lay out roads and bridges, survey land plots, set property boundaries, and more.
