Making gains at Siloam. Love to see it!

The Arkansas Department of Education has released school letter grades for the 2024–25 school year, marking the first year of official ratings under the new ATLAS assessment system (Arkansas Teaching, Learning & Assessment System). We’re proud to share that the Siloam Springs School District earned a “B” rating — a strong reflection of our students’ growth and our staff’s dedication to teaching and learning. 🎉

Statewide, 122 schools earned an “A,” 291 earned a “B,” 352 earned a “C,” 137 earned a “D,” and 130 earned an “F.” The new grading system measures student proficiency and growth in English language arts, math, and science, as well as graduation rates and post-graduation readiness for high schools.

This “B” rating highlights the hard work happening every day across our district and our continued commitment to helping every student succeed. Way to go, Panther Nation! 🐾

Last night our superintendent and several from the Siloam board attended a training session in Rogers. We got to hear from a board panel and from Josh Bryant, one of our state senators. Very insightful and made me thankful for the people who serve in our region.

Who would like to hear some great news? Did you know that we raised 4 of our 6 schools scores by an entire letter grade since this time last year? Our teachers, staff, and leadership deserve some praise for their hard work. Please thank a staff member and let’s keep going this direction!

DID YOU HEAR THE GOOD NEWS YET 👂👂👂 The state has officially released letter grades for the 2024–2025 school year, and 4/6 of our schools IMPROVED their letter grade compared to last year. These ratings are based on student achievement and growth, and we could not be more proud of the incredible work happening across our district. 👏

Congratulations to our students, teachers, child nutrition staff, custodians, office workers, bus drivers, nurses, and every person behind the scenes who played a part in these results. We keep saying it—and we mean it: this is only the beginning for the Panther Nation. There are no limits to what we can achieve together—as a district, with our families, and alongside our amazing community.

I had the honor of participating in my 3rd graduation ceremony. Definitely one of the funnest, most rewarding parts of the job. Congrats grads🎉

I’ve said it several times recently; nothing is closer to missionary work than dedicating a career to teaching. Siloam springs is BLESSED with so many good people who care deeply for our kids. Thank you and Happy Teacher Appreciation week!
