Hi Eagles!

It's hard to believe that the 2026-2027 school year is right around the corner! We have a few quick updates:

Our Open House is on Thursday, August 20 from 5:00--6:30pm. This will be for kindergarten through eighth grade students. You will be able to receive bus information, meet your new teachers, and see old friends. We hope to see you there!

Important update for 3rd Grade: Open House for 3rd Grade ONLY will be on Monday, August 17 from 4:00--5:00pm. We have to make an adjustment due to teacher availability. Thank you for understanding!

Check out the Supply List for 2026-2027. We appreciate your help and support in coming to school prepared. If you are in need of assistance, please reach out to the front office.

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! We can't wait to see you soon!

Hi Eagles! We have a PTA Thrift Store Work Night TONIGHT Monday, August 3 at 5:45pm. We are in need of at least 10 more volunteers. Let's get a packed house to support our Eagles! The more volunteers we have, the more hours and money we earn for our school.

Hi Eagles!

I hope you all are having an amazing summer! I have a few quick updates to share with you.

Chatham County Schools have made several shifts as we work to right-size our school district. These changes have impacted us in two days. We have a new data manager, Wendy Albright, and a new assistant principal, Michael Triplett. We will share Mr. Triplett and Mrs. Albright with Bonlee School this year. Nicole Shoemaker, our former data manager, has transitioned to the treasurer role at Bennett School. We will miss Mr. Glenn and Mrs. Shoemaker at SHS! I have no doubt that our Eagle family will welcome our new staff members to Silk Hope!

Parents, if you have any updates regarding enrollments, withdrawals to another school, or contact information, please reach out to Wendy Albright at [email protected] or call the front office at 919-7442-3911. This is very important as we are working to finalize our homeroom lists.
