Chatham School of Science and Engineering is Chatham County's early college program offering a 22-credit high school diploma and an Associates Degree in partnership with Central Carolina Community College for students entering 9th grade. Our focus is on providing a smaller environment while preparing students to enter community college full time as a junior in high school. Our high sch

ool goal is to provide a Project Based Learning approach which allows our students to engage in relative hands-on projects and prepare them for the workforce and/or community college. Philosophy

The philosophy of CSSE is based on the belief that individuals with diverse learning styles can experience success. A safe and nurturing environment where learning is a shared responsibility will enable these individuals to become contributing members of a democratic society.
