In this month, month of the Rosary, the kids learned about the Mission Rosary. The World Mission Rosary was designed for the American Archbishop Fulton Sheen in 1951. He said “We must pray, and not for ourselves, but for the world”.

Each color on the Rosary represents a different area where the church continues its mission of evangelization:
Green: Africa for its forest.
Red: The Americas, show the fire of the faith.
White: Europe, represent the clothes wears the Holy Father and where he lives.
Blue: Oceania for the oceans surrounding the islands there.
Yellow: Asia as a symbol of the sun rising in the East.

Fulton was officially beatified on September 24, 2026, during a historic mass at the Dome at America’s Center in St Louis, Missouri.
