I had my little helpers with me until thier school opened this morning.

They love taking to the older kids and interacting. So many of my students come up and speak or just pick them up and play.

Tomorrow night (10-24-2025), for the Sikeston High School Football game against Charleston High School, spectators will not be allowed to park along Ables Road between Twitty and Ingram, as well as on N. Ingram between the Tennis Courts and Ables Road. These two portions of the road will be blocked off before, during, and after the football game. This decision has been made to close the road for the safety of the athletes and all who are in attendance of the game at the Stadium.

Once again, the red-highlighted portions of Ables and Ingram will be blocked off during the football game, and parking will not be allowed along these stretches of the roadway.

SPS Foundation presented a check for $5,000 to our Sikeston Department of Public Safety SROs for laptops!
These laptops allow Sikeston DPS to integrate into the school network for the use of the camera system and Sikeston DPS to allow SROs to complete reports and investigation without leaving the schools. This partnership and purchase of laptops allows them to be more visible and spend less time away from the schools completing reports!

We are happy to be able to help in the ongoing efforts to keep our schools SAFE!

Those who haven’t been on my personal page, this is Romel. He is battling stage 3 lymphoma cancer.

Please lift him and his family up. For being only 13, He is strong and hopeful for a full recovery. Romel has a great attitude and the faith he will overcome!
