My name is Kindel Ward and I am running for school board on Tuesday, April 2nd. I would appreciate your support and your vote.
Please let me tell you a little about myself, and my family. My wife, Candy and I have four children: Andy, Grace, Garrett and John. We have lived in the district since May 2004. Andy and Grace both graduated from Kelly High School, Garrett is currently a Senior and John is in 2nd grade.
I retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol after 22 years of service and I am currently the school resource officer for the Scott City R-1 school district. My wife is employed by Kenny Rogers Children Center as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Our life is here in this community, devoted to our family, our school and friends.
I previously served on the school board for nine years, four of which I was School Board President. I was activity involved with the schools activities and projects and was instrumental in helping bring the soccer and football programs to the district. Many of the capital improvements that were completed, including some of the roofing projects, were managed under the oversight of the board when I was President. In addition to serving on the board, I have also experienced other areas of the district by driving a bus route for numerous years and assisted in the bus garage.
Kelly School District has always been an amazing district. I would love to be involved again in helping to continue to bring more opportunities for our students, staff, and community to the district. I love this school and wish nothing but the success of its students and staff. This is why I want to serve our schools by being back on the board. I would appreciate your support and vote on April 2nd.
Sincerely,
Kindel Ward
