Would your youth hunters like to hunt pheasant and chukar this year being guided with our dogs? This cost nothing. Just an opportunity for kids without dogs or the opportunity to try upland game hunting. Possibly even the youth waterfowl hunt.

Each year the DWR holds youth day hunts in Annabelle at the WMA. Many kids never get the chance to hunt behind dogs. The success rates are higher...the excitement is unmatched when a good dog becomes a hunting companion. We will draw for morning and an afternoon hunts.

Requirements. The youth hunters are 10-17yrs old. Have taken one of our Hunters Saftey Classes or will before the hunt this fall.

Your kid must be proficient and safe with a shotgun. Our dogs are well bred, trained and love hunting.
We have a class February 21st in Salina.

To enter just send us their name.

Hunters Saftey Class. In Salina at the Big R building. 720 West, Main Street.

The perfect gift. Mantis is used around the world by professional shooters, special forces, police and those who want to be better and save money.

Over the next week, on my page Utah Fi****ms Training I will show video clips of how I use Mantis daily. You'll see the difference in each system. All are great training tools.

If interested please contact me. Purchasing from me versus online gets you personal support, although Mantis has great customer service too. discounts on classes and accessories and more.

We have MantisX 3 and MantisX 10 Elite. Mantis Laser Academy and Mantis BlackbeardX.

Why MantisX Enhances Dry-Fire

Measures barrel movement before the shot

Shows exactly what you did wrong

Gives specific coaching (e.g., “Too much thumb pressure”)

Tracks improvement over time

Makes dry-fire fun

Works with pistols, rifles, shotguns, and even bows

Works both dry AND live fire.

Most shooters think more range time = better accuracy.
But 90% of your improvement actually comes from dry-fire — trigger control, grip consistency, and sight stability.
And when you add MantisX, you get instant coaching on every trigger press.

This, if it happened the way it is written, is manslaughter, if not 2nd degree murder. This is not a stand your ground defense. As a gun owner it is your responsibility to actually learn the laws of self defense. Take a course or two. Schedule time on our simulator. Military and Law Enforcement around the world train on simulators.

17-year-old Sivan Wilson is dead — and now a Michigan man is facing a manslaughter charge, sparking a heated debate over the state’s “Stand Your Ground” law.

According to officials, Sivan, 17, was with a group of mostly teenagers who broke into a garage in White Lake just after 1 a.m. on July 8. The homeowner, 24-year-old Dayton Knapton, had reportedly dealt with multiple break-ins before, and local police had simply encouraged him to “get a better home alert system.”

On the night of the incident, Knapton got an alert from that system, grabbed his 9mm, ran outside, and fired two shots through a windowless door — striking Sivan inside the garage.

As the group ran away, prosecutors say Knapton fired five more shots, then went back inside, reloaded, and came out again.

“Sivan was running away and got shot,” said his father, Shawn Madden.

Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said Knapton crossed a line:
“This defendant fired outside his home at fleeing persons. His actions not only took a life but potentially endangered the surrounding community by firing his weapon into the night.”

Now the case is raising major questions about where self-defense ends — and where criminal responsibility begins.

We are holding a Concealed Firearm Permit Class this Friday night, 11/07/2025, at the Sigurd Town Hall, 595 North State Street, Sigurd, Utah. The class starts at 6 p.m. and will last until about 10 p.m.

We have been holding classes and training for many years and have a solid reputation with the credentials to back up our training. Don't trust your life or the lives of your family to just anyone. Don't believe that having a firearm means you will come out on top. Even if you win a gunfight, the criminal and civil courts can still cost you everything. Education is essential.

Come learn from us. We offer a complete application package, including fingerprints and photographs. The fee for the permit application is $60.00. If you'd like to come and learn the laws of self-defense, justified use of force, and more without getting an application, the fee is $25.00.

Someone will surely say, 'In Utah, you don't need a permit.' This is only somewhat true. More importantly, it's about learning when you'd be justified. When you admit to using force, you become a possible defendant, and the victim may be the bad guy. The first one to place the 911 call is generally looked at as the victim.

You aren't innocent until proven guilty; ask Kyle Rittenhouse or George Zimmerman. It cost them roughly $3 million each to prove their innocence.
You are responsible for your own safety. Refuse to be a victim. Walk-ins are welcome. For questions, message or call me, Chris, at 435-201-4287.
