Woo Hoo! CONGRATULATIONS to Jack Poss on achieving a perfect composite score on the ACT exam!

Congratulations to rising Senior Jack Poss!
He was recently notified that he has achieved the highest possible ACT composite score of 36!

ACT shares that Jack’s achievement is “significant and rare” as “on average, only around one-tenth of 1% of all test takers earn the top score”.

Congratulations to Jack and a big thanks to his family and teachers who have supported him throughout his academic career! 🎉

Online Registration for BOTH New and Returning Students is now open!

Here is a link for "Enrolling Students" on the school's new webpage that includes links for both Registrations. https://smmhs.hcde.org/s_m_m_h_s_registration/

Please note that registration for 'New' Students requires additional pieces of information.

The links also include an easy way to pay Class Fees and donate to the Mountain Education Foundation, which provides additional staff and resources to SMMHS as well as Nolan and Thrasher elementaries.

HCDE has sent "Snap Codes" to the email account on file for Returning Students. If you did not receive a “Snap Code,” please notify Sharon McDarmont at [email protected] or Kim Adams at [email protected].

Each SNAP Code is student-specific, and you will be prompted to enter this code as part of the online registration process for Returning students.

Other information is available on the district's online registration web page at https://www.hcde.org. OR, you may call (423) 498-7104 for help.

If needed, students may complete registration and receive their class schedule on Friday, Aug. 3, from 10:35am to 11:35am. The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 8.

Middle School class supply lists can be found under Parent Resources on the school's website. Information about Transportation, including a Bus Stop Locator and Bus Stop Request can also be found there.
