Our August Coyotes of the Month were May Larson for volleyball and Carden Patrick for cross country!

Carden is an excellent student-athlete and his teammates all look up to him. Carden works hard every practice and is a consistent performer at his meets. His teammates count on his leadership ability and his teachers all enjoy having him in class! Way to represent!

Maylene Larson consistently shows up to every practice, works hard, and has a great attitude. In the last game against Benson, she stepped up when we really needed her. Her serving helped bring us back into the game, and she also made some important passes. She is a great example of staying positive, working hard, being a great teammate, and always being ready when her team needs her.

Go Coyotes!

PDS Families,

Today, a student pulled a fire alarm on campus. Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with our safety procedures, all students and staff immediately evacuated the building.

The building has been cleared, and **there is no fire or emergency on campus at this time.** Students and staff have safely returned to their classrooms, and the school day is continuing as normal.

We appreciate our students and staff for following safety procedures and responding quickly.

🧮📚 How Fast Can You Math Fact?! ✏️🏃‍♀️💨

Our 6th grade students in Ms. Mehl’s and Ms. Kruse’s classes put their multiplication fluency to the test with a fun-filled relay race! 🧮➗✖️🏆

Teams raced to show off their math skills, teamwork, and speed! 💪🔢 The first team each round earned an assignment skip coupon🎉🙌

And the fun didn’t stop there… our Safety Officer joined in on the action and even helped lead her team to victory in one of the rounds! 👮‍♀️🏆🎊
