At Choson Martial Arts, we are a traditional Tang Soo Do dojang dedicated to the "Old School" way of training. For our youngest students, this means prioritizing character development, respect, and focus in a fun and structured environment.

Everyone begins the journey with excitement, but very few have the discipline to see it through to the end. This image captures the harsh reality of karate—and life itself—where many step onto the path with confidence, yet slowly fall away as the challenges grow harder. The scattered belts and fading figures represent those who gave up when it became uncomfortable, while the lone black belt stands as a symbol of perseverance, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment. It’s a powerful reminder that success isn’t about how you start, but whether you have the strength to continue when others stop.

The hardest part of karate isn’t the fights people imagine—it’s the quiet discipline no one sees. It’s waking up early when your body is tired, stepping into an empty dojo, and repeating the same basic movements over and over until they become part of you. There’s no applause, no opponent, just you and your commitment. That’s where real strength is built—not in moments of action, but in consistency, patience, and the willingness to improve when it feels boring or difficult. In the end, the true challenge of karate isn’t defeating others, but mastering yourself every single day.

Classes are now forming for the following age groups.

-Lil’ Warriors program for ages 4 to 6.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5-5:30pm

-Youth Tang Soo Do program for ages 7 to 14.
Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 4:30-5:30pm

Adult Tang Soo Do program for ages 15 & up.
Monday to Friday 5:30-6:30
