MICA has two upcoming fundraising events. On September 7th, from 4pm - 8pm the Huachuca Chapter is hosting a fundraiser at Vinny's New York Pizza, 1977 Frontage Rd, Sierra Vista. Come enjoy pizza and wings, while being served by MICA members. A portion of the sales and your tips will go to the MICA Huachuca Chapter.

On 18 September, we are hosting the MICA Golf Scholarship Scramble. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for MICA members and their dependents. A flier is attached. You can register at Sponsorship – Military Intelligence Corps Association.

The MICA National President and the Asst. Director of Heritage and Professional Development attended the "Best in Sierra Vista 2026" event today. With this year's beach theme, the MICA was nominated in the nonprofit category.

The MICA store in the MI Library on Fort Huachuca is temporarily closed while the building is under repair.

Please stop by the MICA National office at 325 W. Fry, Sierra Vista (right behind the Subway) to purchase any item you would normally find in the store. Hours are Mon-Thurs, 0900-1200. And, of course, you can still order from our online store at mica-national.org.

The last time I've been under one of those was when I was in Fort Sill Oklahoma.

Good thing the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (pictured) is only a mile and a half from home. Ten minutes after Cam captured this shot we hightailed it home, and barely missed a torrential downpour that hit as soon as we entered the thresh hold of the front door.

What? Nope. The tornado never showed up. At least not where I was.

And why would it?

I think I've already told you in an earlier post that the reason I chase storms is because THEY'RE ALWAYS RUNNING AWAY FROM ME!!!

I'm telling you, not even Thor wants to mess with the Arizonan Yeti.
