🔥 NCA Q&A with our students! 🔥

We interviewed two of our current students to ask them what they enjoy about being an NCA phoenix and what their plans for the future are. NCA is honored to serve our youth; to not only help them earn their high school diploma after having dropped out of traditional schooling, but to also inspire them to keep on rising like a phoenix in the future!

New Crossroads Academy is a dropout recovery program for students ages 16-22 who have dropped out of traditional schooling. We offer a flexible, free, online, educational environment with additional services such as wrap around services and mentoring to set our students up for success.

New Crossroads Academy Open House!
🔥🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🔥

On July 22, NCA opened it's doors for current and prospective students to come meet our passionate team.

Superintendent Dr. Jacqui Clay fired up our event with an inspiring speech encouraging our students to be the best versions of themselves, to persevere despite hardship, to rise like the phoenixes they are!

Next, we were honored to have Daniel Alfonso Vallejo from Arizona Border Alliance presenting on their re-entry program for justice system involved individuals. We appreciate the trauma-informed content of the program and we especially look forward to collaborating in the future for the well-being of our students.

Lastly, our principal Johanna Scott wrapped up our Open House by setting her expectations for our students. We thank every student, parent, and community member who accompanied us and we look forward to what this school year will bring!

🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥 New Crossroads Academy is out in the community again! 🔥🔥🔥

On July 16, NCA was honored to be present at two valuable community events.

NCA was invited to the Fort Huachuca Back To School event by the Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program to provide information about our Drop Out Recovery program to military families. We appreciate the invitation and the meaningful connections created during the event. We are proud to be an integral part of fostering education and opportunity in our community!

NCA was also invited to attend the Business at Twilight mixer hosted by Sky Islands Regional Partnership. We appreciated the deep conversations about economic development in Cochise County and how NCA can participate through providing financial literacy programs to our youth. Thank you to the wonderful presentation by keynote speakers from Sulphur Spring Valley Electrical Company!

We are deeply honored to form part of these events where conversations about economic development and educational growth happen. Through education and supporting of our at-risk youth, New Crossroads Academy fulfills our part in this endeavor!
