Our World’s Fair public viewing will be held tomorrow, Thursday May 4 from 3-4:30 pm in the commons. Stop by for some tasty treats and the opportunity to ask students about their projects.

This weekend our high school students took their biennial overnight field trip! This trip included a visit to the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale as well as a creation-science tour of the Grand Canyon led by Canyon Ministries.

“The Commons” is buzzing with activity as students, parents, and teachers work in preparation for The Pilgrim's Progress presented by Veritas Drama this weekend!

In this quarter's chapels we are taking a look in the Scriptures at God's omnipotence, omniscience, as well as omnipresence. Today's chapel guest speaker, Ryan Dubia from Sierra Vista Baptist Church, spoke on God's great omnipotence in light of this week's verse:

Indeed before the day was, I am He;
And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand;
I work, and who will reverse it?
Isaiah 43:13

Ludi Feroces 2023!

Preparations are underway for our annual Ludi Feroces tomorrow, a day of house competitions, entertainment, and food!

At this year's Youth Engineering Science Fair (YES Fair), our students’ and advisors’ hard work was recognized.

Of the top five 1st place projects, two of our students placed. Manuel Castillo was further awarded an all-expense paid trip to present his project at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Dallas, TX this year in addition to receiving The Huachucan’s $5,000 scholarship.

Most all of our students who participated in the fair placed in various categories, received special awards, and/or were given honorable mentions.

Our beloved science teacher, Mrs. Bravenec, was likewise recognized and was awarded the SSVEC Foundation Advisor Award.

We are grateful to her and Mr. Doyle for bringing students closer to our Creator by observing, studying, and participating in His wonderfully, beautifully created world through the diligence of science fair projects.
