📚 Attention Parents! Is your child turning 5 between September 1 and January 1 for the upcoming school year? 🎉 Sierra Vista Unified School District offers an early entrance to the kindergarten program for these kiddos!
Our goal is to provide kindergarten opportunities to younger children showing above-average readiness through the Kindergarten Readiness Test administered by SVUSD Kinder Teachers. Testing dates for the 2024/25 Kindergarten class are June 11th and June 28th.

🌟 Our 3rd graders in Mrs. Ward’s class at Carmichael Elementary have been busy bees lately! 🐝 They've been hard at work on our Carmichael Staff Spotlights Wall of Honor, a project that celebrates all the amazing staff members at our school. Each Bear took on different roles, from organizers to typists to interviewers, ensuring every staff member was highlighted. From sending emails to conducting interviews and creating documents, they did it all! 📝🎥 It's been incredible to see our students dive into this project over the past two months, learning about the dedication and hard work, and some hobbies of our staff while making them feel truly valued. Way to go, Bears! 🐻💫

🌞 Last week was a blast for our Bears at Carmichael Elementary! 🐻 We kicked things off with a refreshing splash at the Cove, thanks to our awesome partnership with the City of Sierra Vista. ☀️ Then, it was off to Len Roberts Park for our annual BBQ in the park! 🍔🍦 Huge shoutout to our kitchen partner SFE for providing a delicious meal topped off with ice cream for dessert. 😋 It was the perfect way to celebrate our hardworking students after a year of dedication. Here's to more fun in the sun and memorable moments ahead! 🎉
