The Art Festival is just around the corner! 🎨
We're excited to introduce more of the talented artists who will be joining us this year!

Hannah Cassel passion for painting combined with her deep fascination for clay led to a "perfect fusion of art forms." She enjoys the process of experimentation and strives to innovate with each piece@cassell_ceramics

Jody Fink creates unique jewelry with silver, gemstones, etching, cuttlefish, casting, polymer clay, and alcohol inks. Her goal is to think outside of the box and see how far the medium can take her.

Soozee Van D**e Woods/Ramona Paloma Tile has worked in a variety of mediums. She currently focuses on making unique and colorful handmade ceramic tiles. .paloma.tile

Ken Roussin is an award-winning metalsmith. His pieces are embellished with vitreous enamel.

Joseph Stoddard is known for his colorful and energetic watercolor paintings. He has a distinct style of architecture and landscape sketches.

We're excited to introduce more of the talented artists joining us for this year's Art Festival!
Meet the Artists below and discover more about their work:

Janel Descalzi creates handbuilt ceramics that combine playful forms and functional design. .ceramics

Gina Frierman-Hunt shares her creative spirit and love for outdoors within her work.

Toti O'Brien is a collage artist that "explores the liberty of making worlds of my devising one at a time, out of scraps, and of course out of a dream." They create small universes.

John Paszkiewicz is a teacher as well as an artist. He works mainly in watercolor but also has explored work in acrylic and oil.

Gail Splaver works with ceramics to create her variety of work. She incorporates lots of animals as well as people into her work with her own twist on it.

We're excited to celebrate creativity, community, and the incredible artists coming together for this year's Art Festival!
Meet the artists below 🎨

Alyssa Lang is known for her handmade books. This year is introducing her mosaic tiles as well as necklaces.

Faith Hughes is a painter based in Los Angeles. She works to capture the uncanny sense of the remembered world.

Justin Bjorn Iversen combines woodwork with ceramics. He has a unique style and original shapes with his vases.

Kathleen Swaydan is influenced by her grandmother and has been painting since a young age. She has a range of mediums but mainly focuses on watercolors.

Mary Jew-Mori is a ceramic artist that finds immense joy in her craft. Her work is influenced by her Kindergarten and Pre-K students as well as the Japanese concept of Kawaii.

🎨Our young artists have been busy sculpting these incredible ceramic witches with the help of our wonderful ImaginArt Teachers. They are officially being transformed from raw imagination and clay into lasting ceramic art!

ImaginArt is a grant-sponsored art program that challenges the creativity and imagination of first-through fifth-grade students from Sierra Madre Elementary School. Projects that meet the California State Visual and Performing Arts, Science, and Social Science curricular frameworks. (CAGA) Creative Arts Group Alliance is proud and delighted to again help sponsor the ImaginArt Program for Sierra Madre Schools!

Save the Date! We look forward to welcoming you to the upcoming 2026 ART FESTIVAL, November 7 & 8. This year, we will host 60 artists, many on site to discuss their work and chat with you about their process. The Art Festival fun continues on November 14, with our Student Sale.
